Data Deletion
Want your data removed? Here's exactly how to do it and what happens.

Under GDPR, CCPA, and the Meta Platform Terms, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This page explains the process.
How to delete your data
There are two ways to request data deletion:
Option 1 — Delete your account (self-service)
- 1Log in to your Pluripost account.
- 2Go to Settings → Account.
- 3Click "Delete my account."
- 4Confirm the deletion. This action is irreversible.
Option 2 — Email us
Send an email to privacy@pluripost.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account. We'll process your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, preferences).
- All posts, campaigns, media files, and brand settings you created.
- Social media access tokens (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) — deleted within 24 hours.
- Inbox conversations and contact form submissions.
- Your usage analytics and presence scores.
What we retain (and why)
- Payment records and invoices — required by French and EU tax law for 7 years.
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics — these contain no personally identifiable information.
- Data required for ongoing legal proceedings, if applicable.
Timeline
Facebook and Instagram users
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to Pluripost and want to remove the connection, you can:
- Disconnect the account from Pluripost (Settings → Connected Accounts).
- Remove Pluripost from your Facebook settings: Settings → Security → Apps and Websites.
- Request full data deletion using either method above.
Disconnecting your account — from Pluripost or from your Facebook settings — removes the stored Meta access tokens and stops any further data collection. To request deletion of data we have already stored, use any of the methods above or email privacy@pluripost.com.
